Sandroos Advokatfirma, which was established in 2010 with a special focus on Energy, offshore and related maritime industries, merged in 2015 with Advokat Jesper Windahl, which for many years has specialized within shipping, maritime and transport.
In connection with the merger, additional partners were admitted with specialties within the firm’s business areas, whereby Windahl Sandroos & Co. Advokatpartnerselskab was established. The company moved to the address Frederiksgade 7 in 2015.
The law firm later changed its name to WSCO Advokatpartnerselskab, and in 2019 and that same year, the law firm moved to its current offices in Dehns Palais Frederiksgade 17.
These TERMS AND CONDITIONS (02-21) govern any assignment undertaken by WSCO unless otherwise agreed in writing. This also applies to the law firm Werenberg Aps (CVR 40178767), which is in an office partnership with WSCO Advokater.

WSCO is covered by a professional liability insurance and has provided a guarantee in accordance with the rules of the Danish Bar and Law Society.
Our liability insurance covers any legal practice, regardless of where the practice is being conducted. The insurance and guarantee have been taken out with Tryg Forsikring A/S, Klausdalsbrovej 601, DK-2650 Ballerup.
Disputes with WSCO with respect to the legal services provided are subject to Danish law and the Danish Courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
When WSCO accepts a matter for a client, we clarify whether public legal aid or legal expenses insurance is available under applicable law or the client’s insurance. If our fee is to be paid out of public funds or by an insurance company, preliminarily or finally, the client will be advised of the principles for determining the fee, etc. and of the potential consequences for the client.
Client funds are inserted in the client account of Nordea Bank and is a part of the client’s total guaranteed sum covered under the Danish guarantee for client funds.
WSCO is subject to the Danish Act containing anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism financing measures. Under the Act, we are required to obtain and keep client identification records for five years. Clients are required to provide their name, address and civil registration (CPR) number or Central Business Register (CVR) number when a new matter is opened and also, where necessary, documentation. Businesses also have to provide ownership information and documentation.
