In December 2007 DSV Road A/S entered into a cooperation agreement with a Danish wholesaler, W A/S, concerning transport of consignments from Denmark to Italy. W was exclusively engaged with wholesale of electronic goods and computer products, including Apple iPods and iPhones, to businesses in Europe. The transport agreement included no specific information on the nature of the consignment (ie, that they were high-value goods). In the agreement, the freight was stipulated as an amount for each pallet of goods shipped.
